2008 Golf Outing

On Friday May 23rd The Brian Ahearn Children’s Fund will host its 10th Annual Golf Outing. The first outing back in 1998 raised money to initiate offering financial support to families in our community who had seriously ill or disabled children, the death of a guardian or had been affected by fire or other natural disasters. Ten years later the Brian Ahearn Children’s Fund is proud to have distributed over $490,000 to families in Orange, Ulster and Sullivan Counties.

Registration for the 10th Annual BACF Golf Outing is underway. Sponsors and participants are urged to sign up now! Memorial Day weekend takes on special meaning when starting it off by helping others and shooting 18 holes of breathtaking golf. The 10th Annual BACF Golf Outing will be a very special day. Golfers who register prior to May 15th will receive a special commemorative windshirt.

Held at Crystal Springs Golf and Spa Resort in Hamburg N.J, the outing utilizes the renowned Wild Turkey and Ballyowen courses. Golfer Magazine named Crystal Springs “The Best Public Course” in New Jersey. The day begins at 11am with a sit down luncheon. Golfers will hit the links at 1pm in a Shotgun start and foursomes will play the "best ball" format. After 18 scenic and challenging holes where participants have the opportunity to win a lease on a new car, gift certificates for longest drive, closest to the tee and several other raffles and awards, a full dinner and dance will ensue at the beautiful Crystal Springs Clubhouse. The registration fee is $200 per golfer. Additional tickets can be purchased separately to attend the dinner/dance for $60. Sponsorship opportunities range from basic tee & green to customized promotional programs
